I cannot believe Virginia is 13 months old! When did that happen?! I am so blessed that she’s healthy and happy, and the cutest little redhead this side of the Mississippi! It was hosted at the farm since we had friends and family from all over come to celebrate baby Gilligan! I love getting all of our friends and family together. Read MoreBrennan and I have had a wild year with work, weddings, and travel. Nine, well almost ten, months of pregnancy has seemed so far away!! Well we finally settled back home for the long haul once I was about 35 weeks pregnant and it hit us. Holy cow...this baby is coming SOON! We put together a gender neutral nursery, since we are waiting for Baby G's arrival to find out the sex, that went along with our Coastal/Farm themed decor. Hopefully I don't regret all the white down the road!
Read MoreBrennan and and I have been working our tails off at the farm trying to beautify the farm. When we built this house, about three years ago, we literally only had 6-7 trees on the property. We both love old houses surrounded by mature landscaping, so we are trying to make our house look a little older and not so "new construction".
My favorite plant in the entire yard is the azalea that is from our house in Beaufort. My mom brought it up shortly after we moved in and this year is the first year it's bloomed! I was so worried it wasn't going to make it, but seeing those bright pink buds start to show this Spring has given me so much hope for our little homestead!
For our five year anniversary we had a big party at our house with old and new friends. It was so much fun to see everyone get together again. We had the theme- Hunt Country meets Lowcountry. Brennan made a Lowcountry Boil and we had an amazing bluegrass band play music all night! I love, love, love hosting friends over here! I could do this every weekend!!
